Europe’s only overnight wild dog experience

The four single-storey lodges can sleep up to six guests and offer incredible views of one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores, the African wild dog.

Witness these incredible canines through the huge windows in the bedrooms and living areas. There is also an outside decking area to relax and enjoy up-close views of these charismatic dogs.

In one bedroom, you will find a super king-sized bed. In the other, there are twin single beds with a double bed above, perfect for young adults or children.

The Wildlife

African wild dogs are also known as ‘painted dogs’ due to their fantastically variable coat colouration, with splodges of black, tan and white, forming a pattern that is unique to each dog.

African wild dogs are fast, reaching speeds of up to 44mph, they have incredible hearing and are highly social animals who are devoted to the friendships within their pack.

Watch our pack of dogs as they play together and explore their new home. Their new habitat is an expansive area, allowing the dogs to explore, socialise and play, stimulating natural behaviours.

The dogs you will see are brothers, Brock, Bruno and Billy and a female, Monique.
