Pre-Booking

How much is it to stay at Safari Lodges?

Our Standard Package includes;

• An overnight stay in one of our luxury lodges, with incredible wildlife right outside
• Two-day admission ticket to the Safari Park
• Two-day access to rides in the Theme Park*
• Delicious à la carte dinner
• Continental or full English breakfast
• Plus more…

Prices:
Low-Season: from £490 per night based on 2 guests
Mid-Season: from £690 per night based on 2 guests
High-Season: from £790 per night based on 2 guests

Any additional guests are £175 per adult per night and £125 per child (3-15yrs) per night

2022 prices differ depending on the season:
• Low Season – £179 per adult per night and £152 per child per night.
• Mid Season – £219 per adult per night and £162 per child per night.
• High Season – £259 per adult per night and £172 per child per night.

Children under the age of 3 are free of charge. Travel Cots can be added to your booking for an extra fee.

The low season prices usually fall on a Monday-Thursday during school term time and mid season is usually Friday-Sunday. Dates that fall on or around school holidays are high season.

Can I pay a deposit?

Payment is needed in full to reserve your Safari Lodges stay.

Can we feed the animals from the Lodge?

Feeding will not be available from the Lodges.  If you would like to book a VIP Experience to feed our animals, please check availability and pre-book at an additional cost. Click Here.

Are the Lodges accessible?

We have a specifically designed Elephant Lodge, which is wheelchair-friendly. It includes additional design enhancements for those with accessibility needs and can be selected via our website when making a booking.

 

Our Red Panda Cottages are double-storey and listed buildings, meaning they are not fully-accessible.

What's your cancellation policy?

Number of weeks before arrival date that notification is received  Entitlement 
More than 10 weeks  Refund in full – less 10% cancellation charges. 
More than 6 but not more than 10 weeks  50% refund. 
6 weeks or less  No refund. 

What is the minimum age to stay in the lodges?

All groups in a Lodge will need at least one adult booked in (18+).

What is the maximum number of guests each lodge can sleep?

The Cheetah Lodges can sleep up to six guests. The Elephant Lodges and Red Panda Cottages can sleep up to five guests.  A cot can be added also if needed, at an extra charge of £50.

Can I book for different Lodges on separate nights?

Yes you can. Please make separate reservations for each Lodge or Cottage.

Do I need to pay for my child under 3?

Children under 3 years of age are free to stay at the Lodges. If you require a cot, these are charged extra at £50. Please let us know upon booking.

Do WMSP Annual Pass holders get a discount?

Yes, Safari Annual Pass holders get a 10% discount off Lodge bookings. Please note:

  • There needs to be at least one adult Pass per party to get 10% off the whole booking.
  • The Pass needs to be still in date at the time of booking.

Do you offer any group discounts discounts?

We don’t currently have any group discounts available.

Is there a minimum/maximum length of stay?

There is no minimum or maximum length of stay currently.

Can I pay using Tesco Clubcard Vouchers?

No, Tesco Clubcard Vouchers cannot be used for booking a stay at Safari Lodges. 

Is there a single occupancy surcharge?

There is a minimum capacity of two guests per Lodge.

During Your Visit

Where do I check-in?

Please check-in at our Lodges Reception, located next to the Main Safari Park Reception.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 2.00pm. You can arrive earlier in the morning to enjoy the Safari Park before your Lodge is ready if you wish. Don’t forget to stop by the Safari Lodges Reception when you arrive to pick up your Ride Wristbands!

Check-outs and transfers to return to the Park commence at 9.45am and check-out is by 11.00am. 

Can I give my ride wristbands to other friends or family members visiting the Safari Park?

The ride wristbands that come with a Safari Lodges booking are non-transferable, so only guests staying overnight can have access to the rides in the Adventure Theme Park.

Is there free parking?

Yes, you will have a designated free parking space next to the Lodges Reception.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in the Safari Lodges.

Can I hire a cot?

Yes, cots can be hired for your stay for £50. No bedding will be supplied. 

How can I make changes to my booking?

Are the lodges safe for children?

Yes, the Lodges and exhibits are designed and built to current UK building regulations and zoo licencing standards to ensure that all of our guests and animals a safe, whilst offering an up-close and personal interactive experience. Please note, children should always be under parental care.

Is there a smoking policy?

There is no smoking allowed anywhere in or around the Lodges. A £250 cleaning charge will be added if guests smoke inside the Lodges.

Can I invite other friends or family members into my Lodge or Cottage?

Only guests who are listed on the Safari Lodges booking can have any access to the accommodation.

Who do I advise of any special dietary requirements?

Please let us know any dietary requirements upon booking.

What if I need assistance during my stay?

Please ring Guest Services using the telephone in your Lodge if you need anything during your stay.

How long does it take to drive around the Safari Drive-through?

The Safari Drive-through generally takes at least two hours to drive around. This can be longer during busy periods.

Can I leave the site during my visit?

Yes, please contact a member of our Guest Services Team who can assist with taking you back to your car or to the front gates.

Am I guaranteed to see the animals when staying in the Lodge?

You are likely to see the animals from your Lodge, but due to the nature of our wildlife, sometimes they do rest in areas which are not easy to view, particularly during inclement weather or very hot weather, as we expect our animals to live and act as closely as their species do in the wild. Animal husbandry and health check-ups may also mean that some animals are not visible at certain times.
